Hi, I'm Kelly
Kelly Kelly founded The Graceful Warrior Project after years of mission work and humanitarian outreach. In 2016, she moved to Eastern Congo as a missionary, where she began teaching self-defense while working alongside local leaders serving vulnerable communities impacted by conflict and instability.
With a background in boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and self-defense instruction, Kelly saw firsthand the importance of equipping individuals not only spiritually, but physically, intellectually, and economically. That vision became Graceful Warrior Project — a nonprofit focused on empowering communities through faith, protection, education, and sustainable outreach initiatives.

Our Four Pillars
Spiritual Self Defense
We believe every individual was created with value, purpose, and identity in Christ. Through discipleship, mentorship, prayer, and community support, The Graceful Warrior Project creates spaces where healing, confidence, and spiritual growth can take place within vulnerable communities around the world.
Physical Self Defense
Women and vulnerable communities face disproportionate levels of violence, exploitation, and abuse throughout the world. Through practical self-defense training inspired by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Krav Maga, we help equip individuals with skills that build awareness, resilience, confidence, and personal safety.
Intellectual Self Defense
Education creates opportunity, independence, and long-term freedom. The Graceful Warrior Project supports educational initiatives, school sponsorships, mentorship programs, and leadership development opportunities that help individuals build stronger futures for themselves and their communities.

Economic Self Defense
Sustainable change requires long-term stability. Through safe housing, agriculture, food programs, clean water access, and self-sustaining business initiatives, The Graceful Warrior Project works alongside local leaders to help communities become stronger, safer, and more independent over time.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
We are a grass roots movement. We focus on empowering local leaders to empower and create new leaders underneath them in different regions throughout their countries, going on to give them the same tools and resources that they themselves have been given. While we know that we cannot help everyone, and really concern ourselves with the deep impact of the girls that God places around us, we also aim to be a bright light in the communities we are in by providing food banks, care and prayer in times of crisis to those around us.
